Maple-Glazed Prosciutto Wrapped Shrimp


Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup Hungry Jack® Original Syrup
  • 1 tablespoon teriyaki sauce
  • 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 24 jumbo shrimp
  • 6 thin slices prosciutto
  • No-Stick Cooking Spray

Preparation Instructions

  1. HEAT broiler. Stir syrup, teriyaki sauce and cayenne pepper in large bowl. Add shrimp and toss to coat.
  2. CUT each slice of prosciutto lengthwise into 4 strips. Wrap one strip around each shrimp. Thread shrimp onto 4 metal or soaked wooden skewers.
  3. COAT baking sheet with no-stick cooking spray. Place skewers on baking sheet and broil* until shrimp are cooked, about 2 to 3 minutes per side.
  4. *Can also be grilled on a barbecue.
